Q) How many photographs do you actually take?
A) There's no limit to the amount of photographs I take.
I carry on until I'm satisfied that I've got all I need to fill your album.
I don't produce "proofs" as any shots that don't make it into the album are given
to you free and are yours to keep.
Q) How long will it take?
A) I generally advise, for a church wedding at least, that three hours be allowed
between the arrival of the bride at the church, and a sit-down time for the meal
at the reception. This is the maximum though, and depending on circumstances,
can be greatly reduced. However, I advise not to skimp on time.
The photography should be relaxed and fun.
Q) What if it rains?
A) There's not a great deal you can do about the weather, especially in the UK.
I do advise that you brave the elements if you can bear to. Any photographer can
get better, more natural shots outside, and if it's gentle summer rain, an umbrella
can be used and whisked away for the split second while a photograph is taken. It's
your decision though.

Q) Are you using a digital camera?
A) Whilst issues still exhist concerning resolution and colour, ( I do know fellow
professionals who have gone to digital, and I know some who have changed back.)
2008 However, will see a new range of 'digital' options, where image files
(traditionally jpg - onto CD) can be presented with or without pre-manufactured albums.
Q) Do you guarantee your work?
A) I guarantee to record your wedding day faithfully, in accordance with your wishes,
and with the high quality you would expect from a professional of over 25 years experience.
Equipment and public liability insurance has been secured. Obviously factors such as weather,
time constraints, personal dissatisfaction with venue or appearance are outside my control.
In extreme circumstances colours may not reproduce with 100% accuracy.
I do, as a matter of course, operate a comprehensive post-production service to ensure
your satisfaction.
Q)We're getting married in December,- will that be a problem?
A) It need not be, just bear in mind that for weddings outside "the season" that it will be going dark much earlier, and the only way to ensure adequate daylight is to have a morning ceremony.Candlelit photographs, however, can be very romantic.
Q) How long will the album take to finish?
A) Usually around ten working days. If you're having a two-week honeymoon, it should be waiting upon your return.
Q) Can we order reprints for family or friends?
A) Yes. A reprint price list is included with each album. This covers simple machine reprints, hand printing, black and white, sepia and canvas bonding. Canvas miniatures are a new innovation that can also be produced from your photographs. Negatives are retained indefinitely, as is copyright.
